Privacy
This policy explains how the Naledge website at naledge.app and its waitlist handle your information. The website is run by Interstellar Inference LLC, a Virginia company (“we”, “us”). It covers this website and the waitlist only, not the Naledge app.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you join the waitlist, together with the date and time you joined, which form you used, the version of the sign-up text you saw, and whether and when you confirmed it. To check that the address is yours, we also store a one-time confirmation code, in hashed (one-way scrambled) form only, and when we last sent you a confirmation email.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time.
- A short-lived sign-up counter. When you submit the waitlist form, we store a keyed one-way hash of your IP address (for IPv6, its network part) combined with a ten-minute time window, used only to limit repeated sign-ups. It is not stored with your email address and is deleted within about an hour.
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider may use security measures to protect the site from attacks, which can include a strictly necessary security cookie.
The people, places and answers in the demo on our home page are example data. The demo runs in your browser; what you click in it is not sent to us.
Why we use it
- To send one email asking you to confirm that you meant to join. Only confirmed addresses get updates.
- To email you about Naledge, for example when it becomes available.
- To keep the website secure and working.
Who processes it
Our hosting and infrastructure provider serves this website and stores the waitlist for us, acting on our behalf as a processor. When we send the confirmation email or waitlist updates, the email service we use processes your address on our behalf to send them, and keeps delivery records (such as the address, the time and whether the email was delivered). We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Our provider runs a global network, so your information may be processed outside your state or country.
How long we keep it
- Your waitlist email address, once you confirm it: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
- An address that is not confirmed: deleted about 7 days after the last confirmation email.
- Server logs: for the period our hosting provider keeps them under its standard practices.
- Email delivery records: for the period our email service keeps them under its standard practices.
- The sign-up counter: about an hour.
- Information we delete can remain in our hosting provider’s database backups for up to 30 days, after which it is gone.
Your choices
- Each email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing deletes your address from the waitlist.
- If you didn’t ask to join, you can ignore the confirmation email. Without a confirmation, the address is deleted after about 7 days.
- To see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, email hello@naledge.app from the address you signed up with.
Children
This website and the waitlist are not directed to anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has given us their email address, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date.
